Local Minor Ailment Scheme
Did you know that you can treat up to 18 different minor ailments without the need for a doctor's appointment?
In conjunction with local pharmacies the surgery can issue you a passport which enables you to receive common medications over the counter or with a prescription without having to see a doctor first.
You pay only the cost of the medicine or the dispensing fee - whichever is cheaper. Patients who are eligible for free prescriptions don't pay anything at all.
For more information about the pharmacies participating in the scheme or how to claim your passport please view the Minor Ailments Leaflet.
