We have a long established Patient Participation Group (PPG) since 2011.
We meet every 3 months to discuss ideas on how we can improve the service and discussing results from the Friends and Family Questionnaires (FFTs)
PPGs are a way to development patient involvement in the services provided and to encourage people to engage with the NHS at the same time.
They can provide practical support for the practice.
In the past members and helped with our annual flu clinics in directing and engaging with the patients. They have also helped with surveys within the practice asking patients to complete questionnaires which were then analysed.
Aims and objectives of the group are Terms of Reference for PPG
We are looking for a well balanced membership mix from a wide cross section of the practice population. You can express an interest by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be contacted informing you of the next scheduled meeting date.
If you are unable to attend the meetings we can add you to our mailing list and we can keep you updated on what has happened and forward you the minutes of the meetings. You can also bring up a topic for discussion and this will be addressed for you.
