Cervical Smears
It is recommended that women aged 25 - 49 years have a smear every 3 years and women between 50 - 64 years have a smear every 5 years. We will notify you when your smear is due. The ideal time to have your smear is mid-cycle but if this is inconvenient you may come to have your smear at any time that you are not menstruating.
Travel Clinic
The Travel Clinic is run at the practice every Wednesday from 4:00pm to 6pm. Please note this is an appointment only clinic. If you are a new patient or have never attended our surgery for a travel apointment please bring a list of vaccines that you have received in the past 5 years to help the nurse in determining what immunisations that you may need.
Health Visitor
Unfortunately we no longer have a linked Health visitor so there is no longer a health visitor clinic at the practice. We still do child immunisations and six week checks on a Tuesday afternoon. If you need to see a health visitor please contact the Health Centre's reception on 01895 443686 and they will give you their baby clinic times which are also displayed in the waiting room area.
Child Health Surveillance
The Baby Clinic is held every Tuesday by appointment from 1.30pm to 3.00pm for vaccinations and baby checks. A Doctor and Nurse are available to help you with any baby problems you may have.
